As a Low - Input - Impedance Preamplifier for Current - Division Use
By grounding the usual inputs of a 733 amplifier chip and driving one of the gain-control pins, one obtains a common-base input stage with an input impedance of about 20 ohms. This can be used as an inexpensive current-division preamp and, in large multichannel systems, will probably not limit the performance. In the current-division method of coordinate measurement one observes the (integrated...

Bionic implants for the deaf require wide-dynamicrange low-power microphone preamplifiers with good wide-band rejection of the supply noise. Widely used low-cost implementations of such preamplifiers typically use the buffered voltage output of an electret capacitor with a built-in JFET source follower. We describe a design in which the JFET microphone buffer’s output current, rather than its o...
متن کاملMonolithically Integrated 10 Gb/s Fully Differential CMOS Transimpedance Preamplifier
A fully differential transimpedance amplifier has been designed and implemented in 0.18 μm standard digital CMOS technology. The parallel feedback circuit topology is adopted to broaden the bandwidth. It can operate at 10 Gb/s with the dynamic range from 25 μA up to 2.5 mA. The power consumption is only 88 mW under 2 V supply voltage.

The active hybrid pixel detector (APD) can be a valuable solution in front-end electronics for radiation sensors. Detection systems with high sensor pixilation can benefit from low power, low parasitic, high front-end channel density, and low cost per channel. In addition, the APDs are characterized by good radiation tolerance [1-3] and can integrate large amount of additional signal processing...
متن کاملDirect method for solving nonlinear two-dimensional Volterra-Fredholm integro-differential equations by block-pulse functions
In this paper, an effective numerical method is introduced for the treatment of nonlinear two-dimensional Volterra-Fredholm integro-differential equations. Here, we use the so-called two-dimensional block-pulse functions.First, the two-dimensional block-pulse operational matrix of integration and differentiation has been presented. Then, by using this matrices, the nonlinear two-dimensional Vol...
